Mark's personal experience spans over 35 years in custom home construction - beginning with his carpentry trade apprenticeship in Sydney, Australia where he was fortunate to kick off his career creating unique & bespoke custom homes in Sydney & the exclusive Hunter Valley Region. Mark went on to start his own company, NSM Construction, in Mammoth Lakes, CA; later relocating to Lake Tahoe in 2006 in order to position the company & himself for greater creative fulfillment; afforded by the broader opportunities as a General Contractor of Custom Homes within the Lake Tahoe / Truckee / Nevada region. Mark takes great pleasure in participating in & seeing each home come to completion.
Kyle is a highly valued associate at NSM & without question, his input in NSM projects (from start to completion) is invaluable. His attention to detail, communication skills & a Masters Degree in Construction Management, position him as the ideal team leader & driving force of our skilled crew. Away from the role of a General Contractor he spends time with his beautiful young family & enjoys, skiing, biking, golfing & all the outdoor pursuits of life on Lake Tahoe.
With experience in customer relations & project management, NSM is fortunate to have Justin's skills & attention in managing our projects. Justin's natural willingness to assist in any way, or as he confesses "will dive into the rabbit-hole"; along with his affinity for detail & methodical reasoning, are ideal attributes for the successful project manager. Justin enjoys volunteering for the Truckee Pro & Reno Rodeos, playing golf & hiking around Lake Tahoe.
Demonstrating a keen & industrious attitude, Leman's enthusiasm provides him with the ideal skill set to facilitate communication between our trade partners, the project team & our customers. Leman performs a pivotal role at NSM by ensuring our projects travel smoothly to completion & he carries out this task with extraordinary focus & attention throughout every stage of the project. Leman relaxes after work on the golf course - in Summer, getting in a 'quick' 27 holes on the Truckee golf course before sundown!
Ben's knowledge of the construction industry was achieved through hands-on experience in framing, finish carpentry & custom cabinetry; through to onsite supervision & project management. With a background in large scale remodels & commercial project management, he is a valued team member on our Custom Home & Remodel projects; both in project management & estimating. His 'Weekend Warrior' activities include running, climbing & mountain biking around Lake Tahoe - with his family, when appropriate.
With over 15 years of Construction Management experience, both in production & custom homes: Justin conveys a positive & methodical attitude in all that he does. His 'can-do' mode of operation is an inspirational & positive force on NSM project sites - his ability to galvanize the energy of his team & garner enthusiasm & drive, is greatly respected & valued. If you're fortunate you'll enjoy the pleasure of him singing on site....
Brett has an amazing wealth of site management experience and his diligence and focus are highly valued on site.
He is currently overseeing our Clear Creek projects and applying his skills and attention to furthering NSM's established reputation in the Lake Tahoe / Nevada region as a leading General Contractor in producing high quality custom homes and remodels.
Miguel brings to NSM a wealth of hands-on experience, including his extensive knowledge and creative skills in trained carpentry. He is a dedicated manager who shares this knowledge, gathered over 12 years of field experience; with his peers. Miguel's skills and quality of craftsmanship are evident in the resulting custom homes that he oversees and he is a most esteemed asset to NSM. Downtime for Miguel is relaxing with family and friends.
Taylor's extensive experience in the construction industry includes hands-on involvement in all aspects of accounting, project management, resource management & job site safety. His keen & analytical mind is highly valued & is a contributing factor to the success of NSM. He is always available to support his team members & clients alike. If you work in the industry & don't know Taylor; it would be surprising - he's been a familiar & respected member of the Lake Tahoe / Reno / Truckee "construction family" for many years now!
Virginia's industry experience encompasses a broad range of design & construction principles - her studies & experience ranges from computer programming, interior & graphic design through to business management & marketing. With a wonderful balance of creative & systematic thinking, she is always finding ways to improve our processes & support our team.
In a relatively short time, Billy has spear-headed NSM's Home Maintenance division to the forefront of Lake Tahoe's service providers. His strong organization skills, natural customer service abilities & keen desire to see a job well done; have him managing all manner of customer inquiries. His territory is wide - Truckee / Lake Tahoe / Reno / Clear Creek / Nevada - his team covers all regular home maintenance & concierge services through to Remodels (you might even find them decorating a Christmas tree or two!). And don't be surprised if over the weekend you bump into him training your kids on the Lake Tahoe slopes, or SUP boarding on Donner Lake in the Summer.
